ANDREA CHIN

Founder & CEO

Andrea Chin is the owner of the Axy Hotels. He founded this company to pursue and embody his idea of business based on the team power, the certitude of numbers and the achievement of goals.

After his studies at St George’s British International School of Rome, Andrea Chin moves to London to graduate in Economics and Econometrics. His strong aptitude and his skills in managing numbers and business push him to obtain a MPhil in Finance and Management at the University of Cambridge. He comes back to Italy to gain experience in the family hotel business, a reference point for the hospitality sector. Being solidly educated and trained in Planning and Business Administration, he decides to face a great business challenge: to turn a structure with major underlying and locational issues around. The “battle” is won thanks to a successful formula based on: the talent management; the management control; an innovative approach to problem solving and a great attention to the customers. All these elements are always harmonized by deep professional ethics.

His motto is: Defendit numerus (There is Safety in Numbers).

LOREDANA SPALTRO

Chief Operating Officer

Loredana Spaltro is the Chief Operating Officer of the Axy Hotels. She joined the project with the will to go the extra mile and to prove that every challenge can be faced and won by putting together skills, heart and team spirit.

For Loredana Spaltro being an expert in the Hôtellerie field is not only a job, but also a philosophy of life. She has a solid education in Business Studies and a major specialization acquired through Masters and courses in Management Control, Restaurant Management, Tourism Marketing, Empowerment and Change Management. She also got a complete, long-time and multifaceted experience in the Hotel Management Industry. Thanks to this cultural baggage made of study and field work, she develops management, organizational and leadership skills that let her maximize results in different contexts. Her profile stands out for professional ethics, quality of execution and ability to increase profits by motivating her team to achieve the goals. Her specific winning approach makes her succeed in particularly critical challenges.

PATRIZIA PASSALACQUA

Chief Accounting Officer

Patrizia Passalacqua is the Chief Accounting Officer of the Axy Hotels. She joined the project to help create a financially solid and competitive company.

Patrizia Passalacqua has a very high level of expertise in the field of accounting, due to a strong administrative education and a consolidated career gained in important accountancy firms and international companies. Determination, accuracy, confidentiality, reliability, integrity and passion are the main qualities that she uses to maximize her work and optimize her role and her resources. Moreover, the ability to focus on the final results makes Patrizia Passalacqua able to cope with any dilemma.

LUCA BICCHIERAI

Sales & Revenue Manager

Luca Bicchierai is the Sales & Revenue Manager of the Axy Hotels. He plays this role applying his knowledge to develop excellent solutions.

Following the solid experience gained in the field, both in tourist contexts and in the hospitality sector, Luca Bicchierai finds in himself the aptitude of the Sales & Revenue Manager. Thanks to a Masters Degree in Hotel Management obtained in London, he refines his skills and becomes an expert on the subject. The excellent analytical and visionary skills let him attentively understand the situations, always providing the most suitable strategy to implement. His everyday main goal is to carry out important projects.

IVANA LORITO

Marketing Specialist

Ivana Lorito is the Marketing & Communication Specialist of the Axy Hotels. She chose this project to prove herself in an increasingly challenging and stimulating reality for creativity.

After graduating in Communication Sciences in Rome, Ivana Lorito chooses her way thanks to the Master in Marketing Management. She gains a substantial experience and expertise using her creativity, reliability and pragmatism at the service of companies operating in different sectors. These diversified fieldworks endow her with a consistent personal and professional cultural baggage.
The passion for art, literature, cinema and advertising represents the spark to generate always original and effective ideas.

MATTEO PAGLIA

F&B Manager

Matteo Paglia is the Food & Beverage Manager of the Axy Hotels. He joined the team to bring the added value of a deep knowledge of the “Made in Italy” and of the international trends.

To lay the foundations for his Food & Beverage Manager career, Matteo Paglia obtains a degree in Business and Management (Business/Managerial Economics) in Rome and specializes in Managerial Accounting. Once acquired the necessary experience abroad in the Food Industry, he attends a Master in Hotel & Restaurant Management in London to better shape his professional profile. Back in Italy, ready to get involved, he accepts an undertaking as difficult as stimulating, successfully carried out thanks to the experiences, the knowledge and the skills previously acquired
